TY - JOUR T1 - A catalogue of types of the smaller taxa of Proctotrupoidea (Hymenoptera) in the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, with notes on the history of the insect collection of L. A. G. Bosc d’Antic. JF - Zoosystema Y1 - 2007 A1 - Notton, D. SP - 457 EP - 470 AB -

The types of 23 nominal species of Diapriidae (Ambositrinae and Ismarinae), Heloridae, Monomachidae and Proctotrupidae, in the collection of the Muséum national d’Histoire naturelle, Paris, are catalogued. Lectotypes are designated for two taxa (Serphus (Phaenoserphus) micrurus Kieffer, 1908 and S. (P.) viator var. testaceicornis Kieffer, 1908) and some previous lectotype designations are reviewed. Proctotrupes indivisus (Kieffer, 1908) is removed from synonymy with P. gravidator (Linnaeus, 1758). Brief notes are provided on the history of the insect collection of Louis Augustin Guillaume Bosc d’Antic.

The species Pschornia rossica described from north-eastern part of European Russia is transferred to the genus Oxyserphus, becoming Oxyserphus rossica comb.n. The species Oxyserphus europaeus Buhl, 2004 from Denmark is newly synonymised under Oxyserphus rossica.

VL - 16 ER - TY - JOUR T1 - A provincial catalogue of Swedish Proctotrupoidea. JF - Entomologisk Tidskrift Y1 - 2007 A1 - Hedqvist, K-J. SP - 113 EP - 126 AB -

A provincial catalogue is given for Proctotrupoidea in Sweden. It is based mainly on material collected by the author. In total 325 species are listed. Numbers of species per province varies considerably and only Skane and Uppland have over 200 species. Except for Smaland and Vasterbotten, all other provinces have less than 100 species listed. There is certainly a lot more to explore within this group and as a help references to the most important literature is given.

VL - 128 ER - TY - JOUR T1 - Revision of Proctotrupidae (Insecta: Hymenoptera) described by Ch. T. Brues from Baltic amber JF - Zootaxa Y1 - 2007 A1 - V.A. Kolyada A1 - M.B. Mostovski SP - 29 EP - 38 AB -

Re-examination of the type material of six species described by Brues from the Baltic amber in the genus Cryptoserphus revealed that none of them belong to this genus but represent four species within other extant genera, i.e. Fustiserphus pinorum (Brues, 1940) comb. nov., Mischoserphus gracilis (Brues, 1940) comb. nov., Oxyserphus obsolescens (Brues, 1940) comb. nov., and O. hamiferus (Brues, 1940) comb. nov. Two other species (Cryptoserphus tertiarius and C. succinalis) described by Brues and Cryptoserphus koggeauxillarius described by Szabo & Oehlke (1986) are synonymised under O. obsolescens. All species are redescribed and illustrated.
